Lt General Sir Andrew Ridgway DL visited Ten Tors 2019 on Dartmoor yesterday representing the Lieutenancy. He was briefed on the event although having taken part himself when he was at school in Exeter, he understood full well how the participants felt when he chatted to some of them at one of the checkpoints.
