The office, at the Abbey Rise police station, is open to the public from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 3pm. Visitors can have face-to-face interactions with police staff and, occasionally, police officers. The office is equipped to handle information for police officers, facilitate crime reporting, provide crime prevention advice, and offer information about support services for crime victims.
A ceremonial ribbon was cut by a collection of VIPs, including Assistant Chief Constable Nikki Leaper, Devon & Cornwall Police & Crime Commissioner Alison Hernandez and West Devon Mayor Debo Sellis. Also in attendance was the High Sheriff of Devon Commodore Jake Moores OBE DL.
