On Wednesday 15th January, The Lord Lieutenant of Devon presented Luminous Show Technology with their King’s Award for Enterprise in the ‘International Trade’ category. This award is the highest representation of outstanding achievement in business, rewarding companies that demonstrate excellence in their fields.

The award ceremony was held at the company’s headquarters in Exeter, Devon. Also in attendance was the Lord Mayor of Exeter, Councillor Kevin Mitchell, as well as the High Sheriff of Devon, Commodore Jake Moores OBE DL.

 

During the event, a tour of the facilities was given to guests and they were introduced to some of the SFX machines made in the company’s workshop. Guests were also shown a demonstration of the extraordinary capabilities of the HYDRA-TECH Digital Rain Curtain, a machine that has been used in events across the world.

 

Luminous Show Technology wins their award for International Trade, as the company has manufactured hardware in places such as Saudi Arabia for Terhal by Dragone, North America for the Harry Potter & The Cursed Child theatre shows, and the UK for the Commonwealth Games.
