Deputy Lieutenant Nick Powe took to the stage to open the English Riviera Airshow on Sunday, 2nd May on Paignton Green, alongside the Mayor of Torbay, Cllr Mark Spacagna.
To open the event, Mr Powe took the salute during the parade of the Exeter Pipe and Drums Band as they paraded along the Seafront to the Event Village. Throughout the day, he met with various groups and people, including the 200 (Torquay) Squadron Air Training Corp.

Mr Powe spoke to The Red Arrows Team, and was shown the the Static Spitfire Display with Torbay Council officer Matthew Fairclough-Kay. He also met with team members at the RAF Reserve in Armed Forces Village.
